Vantage Point: From the 'football field' on the west slopes of Murchison

Caption: The mountain panorama looking S from Murchison

PhotoDescr: See trip report #3574: we have just arrived at 'the football field' and finished setting up our bivy sites. The Football Field is a large scree bench located on the west side of Mt. Murchison at about 9250', about 4300' above the start point on the highway and about 1700' below the summit. Reg Bonney is the mountaineer in the photo who is enjoying the sights.
