Jason Dixon #365
(Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada)
On the Athabasca glacier with my daughters.
I was born and have lived all my life in Kamloops. I started climbing in the early 1990's and since then have spent most of my climbing trips in the Selkirks and Rockies. I enjoy all types of climbing but mountaineering, ice and moderate trad routes are my preferences. As well as doing most of my climbing in the Selkirks and Rockies I am also fascinated by the history of those places, especially the area around Rogers Pass. I am a husband and a father, and in the last few years I have been spending more of my time close to home. My daughters Amy(13) and Katie(11) are experienced campers, hikers, rock climbers and glacier travellers. I look forward to spending many more days in the hills with them.
