So on the current trip we used a helicopter and were dropped off on the saddle between Weart and Mount Moe. We then skied down Weart Glacier past the Owls. Picked up by helicopter & dropped off back at the saddle.

We skied down the glacier then kept to the North side in order to be away from the large cliffs & avalanche potential from Mount Cook. Once we entered the trees, it was fairly open due to good snow cover. The big rock slide with trees in the middle is where we then dropped down to cross the creek. See Steve Andrews
