BEARTOOTH

Start from BEARTOOTH Main

Hike through overgrown main road to 5km mark. Cross bridge and follow flagging up mountain, River right.

At big boulder, we continued on the same heading and ended up on Little Tooth.

Decided we still had time to descend and approach from Ridge between Twin Peaks and BEARTOOTH. Found fun way up!

Descended down ridge, through an excellent gully, and cut right back to original route up.

Our route is shown in red. I thought it was a great way to spend 14 hours 😀. If we had known our way, and just went to BEARTOOTH via this route; probably boat to boat in 9 hours.

Alternate route we heard from two different parties is shown in Blue.

Yellow was another way up I wanted to try...
