Not much more to add to Rick's description other than an update to road conditions.

We followed Rick's description with no issues. We thought there would be no signs of humans, but it looks like a couple days before a group of 2-3 with a dog had made it in and up this remote peak. Funny how it works sometimes when you choose an obscure destination hoping to see no signs of humans; you seem to broadcast your subconscious and people make it in a couple days before you. Large cairn at summit but no sign of a register.
