A nice ridgewalk in the Yaha Tinda suitable for year-round travel.
From the Eagle Lake Parking Lot, follow the ATV trail to where it crosses Eagle Creek (20 minutes). The trail heads east here towards Eagle Lake. At the first large meadow, go NE and leave the trail, heading in a NE direction towards the treed slopes of the peak. Go up! A minor subpeak is reached above treeline at 2225m. Follow the ridge crest, dropping off it only as necessary to avoid more difficult and exposed terrain. (one minor detour required climbers left to avoid a small buttress).
