Summer route to Mt Price from Rubble Creek.
This is the standard summer route to Mt Price best done between July and September when there is no snow on the ground. Approach is via the Rubble Creek trail to the campground at Garibaldi Lake.

The trail starts immediately behind the dock near the ranger station. It briefly goes uphill before dropping back to the lake at the next bay. It then heads SW away from the lake for a short distance before turning SE on a fairly direct heading to Clinker crossing a number of old lava flows en route. This route roughly parallels the lake shore to the base of Clinker. It is relatively well flagged in the bushy sections but difficult to follow under snow in the open areas. It then goes up the north side of Clinker before crossing the shoulder into the Clinker Price col. The summit of Price is gained from its SW side.

The winter route when the lake is frozen involves skiing across the lake to Price Bay and then skiing up the north slope of Price.

In good conditions this can be done as an 8 hour round trip from the Rubble Creek Parking lot.
