This trip was part of a longer trip see:"Sentinel Bay via Table Meadows. Hike up to Garibaldi Lake from the trailhead and just past the dock past the ranger station is the unofficial trail to Mt Price. Still considered a route it is well trodden and easy to follow. Some tape and plenty of cairns mark the "route." The route is nicely described in Matt Gunn's book, SCRAMBLES in Southwest BC, page 74. Once at the saddle between Mt Price and Clinker Peak and left of the natural drainage about 20 meters, is the way down.

I have done this one a few times in the past and find it enjoyable. The one down side is that the mosquitoes are thick because of the ideal breeding conditions (lots of water). Time in is about nine hours. The stunning views and the camping are a great reward for me but no so for others. From Table Meadows one can head out in many directions, a circut of Gabraldi Lake, Sentinel Glacier, Warren Glacier, Brohm Ridge etc. and escape from the hords. To reach the base of Table Mtn head towards the norhtern ridge, one way is about 2-3 hours. A great spot for lunch and to watch for people traversing along...
