A superb route, offering spectacular positions and exposure. The climbing is interesting but never very difficult, and is on perfect rock.

From the Bugaboo-Snowpatch col, walk across the glacier towards the Pigeon-Howser col, and gain the ridge via its flank a short distance before the col. 2-2.5 hours from Applebea. From here, climb on or close to the crest (II-III, UIAA grades my protest against the YDS) over two lesser summits. The col after the second summit is easily gained on the N flank (RHS), then follow ledges and a small gully all on the N flank to the base of a large R facing corner. CLimb this, exiting L to reach ledges just below the airy summit. 2-2.5 hours.
