A great ice route in late summer.
Gain the Andromeda Glacier from the "snocoach" bus terminal. It may be difficult to climb through the seracs at the snout of the glacier when they are open late in the season. In late August 2000, the glacier was easily gained by climbing ice below the toe of the North Ridge at GR835816.
Cross flat Andromeda Glacier to bottom of North Face at GR838806. Ascent North Face to summit ridge (sustained 45-degree ice/snow with a short 50-degree finish). Follow short narrow ridge to summit. Awesome.
Descent by the East Ridge may be difficult late in the season depending on conditions....
