A steep snow route
A steep snow route.
 This route is to the right of the North Couloir and is best done in Spring.
 Approach from Wedgemont Lake as for the North Couloir.
 Cross Wedgemount Glacier to its western edge and ascend to the base of the Northeast Couloir at GR143537 on 92 J/2 (second edition). Cross bergschrund and ascend steep snow to summit plateau: mostly 50 degree steepening to 55 degree where the couloir narrows, half way up.
 Descent is by the North Arete (short) or the West Ridge (long)....
