A ski approach followed by snow, ice, and rock (variously) led to the summit
We skied for three hours up French Creek and then E across the valley. Shedding our skis and skins, we ascended to the highest point on the snow cone rising toward the obvious col between French Peak and Prairie Lookout. We climbed a cliffy couloir above the snow cone, exiting onto a ramp to the N, which led to the upper scree slopes and the scrambly summit....
