Ascent of Nasswald Peak and Possible First Ascent of Golden Mountain

The party scrambled the NW ridge up Golden Mountain; there being not even the remnants of a cairn on the summit, we assume this may be a first ascent.
From a camp at Og Lake, Mardy Roberts and I approached Nasswald Peak (3043m; 9985') through the Valley of the Rocks. After ascending this summit, we contoured and descended NW to the col between Nasswald and Golden. I continued on NW up what, from the face-on view, looked to be a formidable set of walls (See Summit Block of Golden).
