Mount Sir Wilfrid Laurier # 9699

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 1998.04.22
Vantage Point: From the NW corner of the upper South Canoe Glacier

Caption: The North Canoe Glacier, leading up to the summit block of Mount Sir Wilfrid Laurier

PhotoDescr: See Trip Report #218 - This photo was taken on the morning of Day #10: "We made our way over the Thompson Ridge ice bulge and then, roped together, descended slowly and awkwardly through the crevasse field, a task made somewhat simpler than it might have been by being able to follow our predecessors' tracks; some wonderful views of Mackenzie King and Wilfrid Laurier off in the distance. We had lunch at the bottom in the now windless and quite warm cirque at 11:30 a.m."
