Snowy First Peak, Mount Seymour # 9582

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2007.02.27
Vantage Point: From just to the north

Caption: Fresh tracks on first peak

PhotoDescr: On a recent clear day I went up Seymour. I was not the first on top but was still able to make fresh tracks twice down the steep south slopes. In summer the saddle in the foreground is much deeper and the peak rises in small rock steps above it. It must now be under at least 5-10m of snow. See Bouldering for comparison.
