Old Pierre Mountain from Remote Peak # 9489

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 1972.08.02
Vantage Point: From Remote Peak

Caption: The south slopes of Old Pierre Mountain

PhotoDescr: The picture shows the triple summit of Old Pierre Mountain. We climbed the west peak at the left, from the back side. The gaps looked too difficult and would have taken too much time, if we could have done them at all.

Behind Old Pierre Mountain is rocky Pukulkul Peak and snowy Corbold Peak to the right. In the center on the horizon distant Sir Richard and Nivalis are still visible.
