Caption: Mamquam Massif from Rain God Mountain

PhotoDescr: Looking across the over 2000 m deep valley of the Pitt River, I saw this view for the first time in 1972 and was interested to compare the condition of the glaciers. Then there was more snow in the end of July and more avalanche debris below the icefall in the center, but the blue ice tounge at the right was very similar in extent.
