Mission Ridge - South Side # 8598

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2006.06.27
Vantage Point: From Seton Ridge

Caption: The high peak at far right is Mount McLean, which is incorrectly displayed on the 1:50K. See [Mtn7212-Mount McLean]. Seton Lake lies below, as does what is labeled on J/9 as "Retaskit" or the Silicon Indian Reserve. This is viewed at the base of the fluvial scarred (unnamed) drainage.

PhotoDescr: Mission Ridge caught my eye from the Whitecap Creek area as well. It looks like it would be a great (mini) ski traverse. Sufficient snowpack might be the crux. Even the most modest features (such as this one) outside the greater Lillooet area are outstanding.

Geographically speaking, Mission Ridge is bounded by Mission Pass on the west, Seton Lake to the south, the town of Lillooet to the east, and the valley of the lower Bridge River to the north.
