Caption: Carlisle Volcano which forms Carlisle Island, a tiny volcanic island north of the west end of Chuginadak Island in the Aleutians.

PhotoDescr: A good view of the steep-sided, symmetrical Carlisle volcano on Carlisle Island in the central Aleutian Islands. The 1,620-m (5,315 ft)-high stratovolcano has erupted several times since the late 1700's.
