PhotoDescr: I attempted Neptuak and Deltaform in the summer of 1984; we made it to the col, after climbing some steep snow and a couple of ice patches. But then it had started to pour and and we beat a hasty retreat. I returned with John Northwood, Len Potter, Bob Saunders, Reg Bonney, and Graham Law two years later, on July 13, 1985. We marched right up the snow and ice, contoured around Neptuak, and ascended its easy boulder-strewn slopes to reach the summit about 10:00 a. m. Then the fun began as we headed down to the col to the south to gain the ridges and faces of Deltaform.
