Snazzy and Snass # 7721

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2005.11.23
Vantage Point: From the southeast peak area of Mount Dewdney

Caption: Looking down at the Dewdney Trail and across to Snazzy and Snass from the southeast peak of Mount Dewdney

PhotoDescr: D. Blair and I took a "let's head up from here and see where it gets us" approach to gaining the ridge between Ford and Dewdney. On the return we followed the gully route to start but gave up on that and headed into the forest where we discovered a flagged route down to Dry Lake. This flagged route starts just after the old growth cedar on the Dewdney Trail near Dry Lake. Look for a blaze on the north side of a tree and turn west and upwards from there.
