Truce Mountain Glacier # 7450

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2005.09.02
Vantage Point: From spur road off of Glacier Creek fsr

Caption: The snout of northwestern arm of the Truce Glacier (on the left) as well as the ridge running west from Truce

PhotoDescr: After making many visits up to my friend's house up in Argenta, I finally go to make it up to the Jumbo Pass area. I was blown away by the beauty of this place. Way back in the day I did some brushing up at the head of Duncan Lake. I can still remember how beautiful it was back then. Knowing I was getting a chance to get up the Glacier Creek fsr this time had me babbling and had my wife telling me to "shut up" on a regular basis.

We went up to Monica Meadows and hiked over to Starbird Pass. Monica Meadows were outstanding with very easy access. I think next year I will have to return and bring my son for some extended camping.
