Priory Peak and Meadow Dome # 7419

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2005.09.19
Vantage Point: From the west end of Bellavista Ridge

Caption: On the left are the Priory Peaks, seperated by a notch. Meadow Dome is the obvious dome at right, and Fried Egg Lake sits in the bowl beneath the east ridge of Priory .

PhotoDescr: This is the south side of the peaks located south of Phacelia Creek (the major drainage north of Lizzie Creek). This is a nice area, but if you're expecting the same scenery that you get when taking nearby Lizzie Creek (Lizzie/Stein Divide), you might be a bit disappointed. In my humble opinion, this area really shines in winter on skis. We spent the day riding Bellavista Ridge, a gentle east/west trending ridge with fantastic views of everything from Ipsoot to Sir Richard.
