Vantage Point: From Siyeh pass

Caption: Route goes up a gulley in the center of the peak. Class 2-3.

PhotoDescr: Part of a driving trip exploring Glacier National park. Climbed with Annie Maurer. From the top there is a 6000 foot drop. It was a 7 hour round trip from the trailhead on the "Going to the Sun" road. It was a clear sunny day, the start of the trail is difficult to find. Do not go as far as the Siyeh col before searching for the dry creekbed mentioned in the climbing guide. Very dry climb, we brought a litre of water despite snow. (snow is not permanent). Rock is a conglomerate with reddish diorite.
