Caption: A rope team from the Grant MacEwan Mountain Club 2005 Castleguard Mountain Trip descends from the peak after a successful summit bid. An outlier of Mount Andromeda is in the background.

PhotoDescr: (L to R) Sandy, Karl and John S. make their way down softening snow just before noon. Behind them, the edge of the Columbia Icefield is visible to the left of an outlying subpeak of Mount Andromeda, across the Saskatchewan Glacier from Castleguard.

A group of seven climbers from the Grant MacEwan Mountain Club travelled up the Saskatchewan Glacier to a base camp above the Castleguard Meadows at the base of the mountain. Six of them summitted, the first party to sign the summit register in 2005.
