Mount Denver and Goat Range from Gladsheim # 7198

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2005.08.12
Vantage Point: From Gladsheim Peak

Caption: The view looking north from Gladsheim over the foreground ridges above Beatrice and Evans Lakes to Mt Denver (left) and the Goat Range (behind right)

PhotoDescr: Mt Denver is the northern end of the Valhallas and is usually climbed from the New Denver area either via boat access across Slocan Lake, or via Wee Sandy Lake trail.

Beyond, the Goat Range can be seen in the distance with Mt Cooper the highest (double) peak. Cooper is the southernmost 3000 m peak in the Selkirk Mountains, and although the climbing involves only glaciers or scrambling, it is a difficult summit to reach, isolated in the SE portion of the Goat Range far from nearby roads.
