Mount Richardson and the Sechelt Inlet # 6979

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2005.07.15
Vantage Point: From shore of Sechelt Inlet

Caption: Mount Richardson's summit is just short of a kilometer above sea level - the level of Sechelt Inlet.

PhotoDescr: When I tried to drive the forest service road that leads to the hiking trail to Richardson's summit plateau, I first missed the turn where the FSR forked and drove kilometers in the wrong direction. Then, when I returned and found the right route, about three very slow kilometers of rock-and-pothole-dodging in my Subaru convinced me that I'd never get there in a reasonable time, and might not get there at all. My wife and daughter, riding with me, agreed it was time to turn around.

So this photo from the shore of the inlet is the best view I got.
