Climbing on the North Face of Soprano Peak # 6826

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2005.06.12
Vantage Point: From base of route

Caption: Steve Harng starting the north face spur of Soprano Peak, a nice scrambling route. "Hey Steve, helmets work better when you put them on your head!"

PhotoDescr: After seeing this thing up close last weekend (see North Face of Soprano Peak), I thought a return visit would be in order. The rock was quite nice in parts and offered many interesting edges and jugs on steep sections and through slippery lichen. Repeat climbers are advised to not climb it when it is snowing. The base of this route can be reached in under an hour from a 2WD road.
