Caption: Looking up to the southeast faces of Linus and Faulty Tower from the basin below Holly Lake in the Eastern Cayoosh.

PhotoDescr: The northeast ridge of Linus (connecting it to FT) was reported in the 1990 CAJ as "fine 3rd-4th class route," while the left-hand skyline on Faulty Tower is the likely location of Basil Buttress (A. Foreman, V. Haberl, A. Greer 1988) which featured two pitches of roped climbing up to 5.6. Somewhere to its right on the darker, slabbier rock is The Crack of Noon (J. Broom, J. Haberl 1988) which came in at 5.9.

The vantage of this photo can be reached in about 45 minutes from the Downton 2 branch of the Downton FSR.
