Caption: A gravel bar adjacent to the Koroc River can be used by bush planes as a landing strip.

PhotoDescr: This is a shot taken uphill from the landing area, which is the gravel-looking strip in the center and left in the picture. There are tents at the end of the landing area.

This photo was taken by Andrew Lavigne during an expedition to Mount Caubvick to investigate the disappearance of Susan Barnes and Daniel Pauze a year earlier. For the full story see the trip report. The search party landed here in Twin Otters chartered in Kuujjuak.
