Mount Taillefer from the South # 6180

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2004.12.27
Vantage Point: From a 6400' knob south of Mt. Taillefer

Caption: The impressive Mount Taillefer, which sits at the head of Phelix Creek. The right skyline (east ridge) is a minor 3rd class scramble.

PhotoDescr: Don Funk and I climbed a nondescript bump south of Taillefer while scoping out access to the Prospector Peaks area. Meager snow conditions made things a little tough in places, but a scenic view, and some short runs made up for it. See The Price We Pay for Turns in December.
