Abbot Pass and Mount Victoria from the Plain of Six Glaciers Trail # 6013

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2004.08.07
Vantage Point: From the end of the Plain of Six Glaciers Trail

Caption: Abbot Pass and the Death Trap are to the left of Mount Victoria, with the massive rock-strewn Victoria glacier filling the valley bottom.

PhotoDescr: A rain-cancelled day hike of Northover Ridge in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park sent Wolf, Guy and me westward in search of drier terrain. Relatively better weather allowed me to hike the Plain of Six Glaciers Trail for the first time since 1966.
