Vantage Point: From the summit of an 8400 ft peak northwest of Mt Sheba

Caption: Mount Sheba and subsequent ridgeline which extends to the northwest. The Bendor Range and Mt Truax can be seen on the horizon to the left.

PhotoDescr: I hiked in from the Jewel Creek Bridge (Gun Creek) up the Deer Pass Trail to a beautiful meadowed area to the west of Deer Pass, where I set up camp. I proceeded to climb an 8400 foot peak west of the pass that evening, where I had this magnificent view of Mt Sheba off to the southeast.
