The Valley East of Falls River # 5408

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2004.07.24
Vantage Point: From the valley

Caption: The Yukon-esque valley east of Falls River

PhotoDescr: After checking out the loose rock towers at the head of this valley, we sauntered back down to camp and experienced a rather gripping moment trying to get back across the swollen Falls River to camp.

The only sign of grizzlies we ever saw in the area was a rather fresh set of tracks very high up this valley on a snow slope high above tree line. One wonders what the heck it was looking for or going to?
