Robson River Headwaters # 5396

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2003.09.14
Vantage Point: From below Snowbird Pass

Caption: This small lake at the terminus of the Robson Glacier forms the headwaters of the Robson River. Extinguisher Tower dramatically rises above. The rain/hail/snow/sleet had given us reprieve for about 20 minutes, then came back with a vengeance for three straight days.

PhotoDescr: The Robson River is in a constant hyperactive state, with incredible falls and great views of the surrounding mountains. The only time it settles itself is when entering Kinney Lake and Berg Lake. See Mount Robson from the Shores of Berg Lake.
