Vantage Point: From Hermit meadows

Caption: The view south from the Hermit meadows. Directly above the tent is Asulkan Pass. The pass is historically significant as it provided access to the larger peaks in the background (Mt. Dawson) in the late 1800's, during the initial exploration of the area. To the right of the pass is mt. Mt Jupiter and the rest of the Asulkan ridge. To the right of Asulkan ridge is Mt. Swanzy. To the left of Asulkan pass is Young's Peak.

PhotoDescr: Taken during a weekend of climbing at Roger's Pass. Earlier in the day we had climbed Mt. Tupper and the following day we climbed Mt. Rogers.
