Caption: The East Face of Longs Peak in Rocky Mt. Nat. Park, Colorado

PhotoDescr: This photo was taken during the approach to a climb of Stettners Ledges and upper Keiners on the massive east face of Longs Peak. The Diamond is the large, roughly diamond-shaped vertical wall (over 300 meters high). Also visible is the lower, black-streaked Diagonal Wall with the Notch Couloir directly above. The right angling snow covered ledge just left of the Diamond and just below the summit is the upper part of the Keiners Route.

The Rocky Mountains have 54 14'ers which are all in Colorado and Longs Peak is the farthest north.
