Gargoyle Pass Mt. Edith # 5097

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2003.09.28
Vantage Point: From Gargoyle Pass, Cory Pass Trail.

Caption: A lone hiker descends into Gargoyle Pass. The dramatic Mt. Louis at left and Mt. Edith at right.

PhotoDescr: Gargoyle Pass is named for the looming and mysterious looking limestone rock formations in the Pass's saddle. Some of them(up to 10 meters high) hunch over and look like gargoyles. We hiked up here to check out the nearby Mt. Edith and Mt. Louis. Very Impressive!
