Mount Daly and Takakkaw Falls from the Iceline Trail # 499

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 1996.09.07
Vantage Point: From Iceline Trail

Caption: The Iceline Trail climbs quickly from its trailhead near Takakkaw Falls, soon giving panoramic views of the Yoho Valley and the Waputik Icefield that feeds the falls. Mount Daly on the horizon marks the continental divide.

PhotoDescr: The Iceline Trail replaced the earlier Yoho Skyline and Highline Trails when the popularity of those trails proved too much for the fragile alpine terrain. By quickly reaching rocky glacial moraine, the Iceline is in a less sensitive environment. The Scott Duncan Hut is located on the north (left) ridge of Mount Daly, and is used by mountaineers and skiers touring the Waputik Icefield.
