Caption: One of the many great bowls to ski on Cayoosh Mountain

PhotoDescr: BCMC group spent two days in the Cayoosh Mountain area. The original plan was to climb Cayoosh, but as we got up to the bowls beneath the south ridge the weather and visibility got nasty. With some bomber avy conditions, we decided to get alot of turns in instead.

Cayoosh Mountain (pronounced "Ki-oosh") is a large partially glaciated peak located on the divide between Joffre Creek and Cayoosh Creek. Cayoosh Mountain can have large cornices which can be accidentally set off to come slamming down on the eastern approaches.
