Date: 2003.09.28
Vantage Point: From the meadows north of Kokanee Lake

Caption: The meadows on the north end of Kokanee Lake, and the trail above its west shore. Unfortunately, this is now known more as the final resting place of Michel Trudeau. The son of former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau was swept by an avalanche into the deep, icy waters, in November of 1998.

PhotoDescr: On our way to the base camp at Kaslo Lake, we passed the incredibly windy, but scenic basin that cradles Kokanee Lake.
