John Carter and Small Falls of Upper Sapphire Lake # 4565

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2003.10.28
Vantage Point: From the north end of Upper Sapphire Lake

Caption: The small falls of Upper Sapphire Lake, with Mount John Carter looming above left

PhotoDescr: This was taken on the third day of a four-day trek of the area. We base camped at Kaslo Lake and made day trips throughout the area. It was a two hour hike along a great trail from Kaslo Lake to the Lower Sapphire Lake. Views are great throughout, and the Lemon Pass area is especially scenic.

Kokanee Glacier Park is a great place to wander. Lots of scrambling and great ski terrain. The huge "Kokanee Glacier Hut" at Kaslo Lake is quite the site for the uninitiated.
