Peak 6700 (Stokke Creek) # 4492

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2003 August
Vantage Point: From Port Douglas Logging Camp

Caption: Looking east from Port Douglas at the 6700 foot massif between Douglas and Stokke Creeks.

PhotoDescr: This peak forms the north end of the divide running north from Peak X. The highest summit is the small, pointed horn in centre rear. Peaks tend to be quite scruffy around this area and tree line extends much further than the map would suggest, though there is some neat stuff here and there, like that squat version of Blanshard Needle in centre.
