NE Side of St Jacobs # 4483

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2003.08.12
Vantage Point: From basin to NE

Caption: NE side of 8400

PhotoDescr: On an exploratory trip to the group of summits between the forks of Van Horlick Creek, Tim LeCouteur and I poked around a bit and scrambled up the west ridge of this peak (right skyline), which was mainly class 2-3 with some optional hand cracks here and there. There is a sizable glacier on the north side of this peak, which is completely unmapped.

Rock is granite, but as you can see is pretty manky and loose for the most part. We had wanted to try the spur that comes down left of the gully, but it was horribly loose. Some good rockfall witnessed around the time this photo was taken as the sun hit snow.
