Lower Ault Lake # 4480

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2003 September
Vantage Point: From Ault Creek Trail

Caption: The unnamed ridges south of Sloan reflected in Lower Ault Lake.

PhotoDescr: Taken the day before an ascent of Mount Land. I can now boast that I have swum in all three major Ault Lakes (a guide to wilderness lake swimming would be a neat idea, no?), though there is still a glacial melt pond that I will have to go back for. The lake below Sloan is the nicest, but the lower one sure got our attention as we hiked by on this morning.

We all thought, hey, what an awesome reflection, probably won't turn out that well. Funny, the developer actually turned it upside down in the processing, so I guess I fooled him!
