Southwest Peak of Chariot # 4180

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2003.08
Vantage Point: From meadow bouldefield to SW

Caption: The southwest peak of Chariot Peak. You'd think it would be a separate peak, but it only rises 100' from the summit scree plateau on the other side.

PhotoDescr: Just another unnamed, unclimbed feature in the Valhallas.

The moderate buttress dropping down and slightly right was quite bushy and loose-appearing, while the face itself had lots of blank sections and roofs. And then it started raining, so we scrambled up Chariot instead, which is a bit of a long ways anyways.

Taken during a five-day trip to the Devils Range of the Valhallas.
