Vantage Point: From Jasper Skyline Trail

Caption: Curator Lake is ruffled by high winds coming down from Shovel Pass, directly behind it from this viewpoint. Curator Mountain is the peak on the right half of the skyline.

PhotoDescr: The view back while ascending to the Notch on the Jasper Skyline Trail extends over Shovel Pass toward Little Shovel Pass and the peaks of the southern part of the Maligne Range. This photo was taken after our lunch break on the shores of Curator Lake, near the halfway point on our dayhike of the 45 km trail.
