Date: 2002.09.04
Vantage Point: From Eva Lake Trail

Caption: Nature takes its course on the Mount Revelstoke summit ridge.

PhotoDescr: Thanks to a late spring and a lingering summer, the alpine flowers were in full bloom along the Eva Lake Trail in Mount Revelstoke National Park even in early September. A bumblebee (likely a golden northern bumble bee Bombus fervidus) and an unidentified fly gather pollen from this flower, probably from the aster section of the daisy family.
