PhotoDescr: Mount Rundle is named after the Reverend Robert Rundle, a Wesleyan missionary. It was first ascended by J.J. McArthur in 1888 while he was surveying the Bow Valley area.

When snowfree, Rundle can be easily scrambled via the west slopes - ascent time 3-5 hrs.
