Towers East of Mount Land # 2743

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2002.07
Vantage Point: From south ridge

Caption: Granite towers on the ridges west of 8380.

PhotoDescr: There is lots of nice rock in the vicinity south of Sloan but reaching it is quite the hassle. These towers are maybe 300 feet high but are guarded by a horrendous bushwack and 1000 feet of bushy scrambling. See 8380 attempt for details.

Similarly, there is a giant gendarme between the east and main summits of 8380 and linking the south side of the east summit with the gendarme to a finish up the main summit would likely be a spectacular challenge.
